The UBS Athletics Kids Cup moves the kids! The three basic movement forms that are required in almost every sport are the basis of this unique sports initiative in India. Let's move children together and encourage their personal development.
How it works
Overview
The UBS Athletics Kids Cup is a major youth project in India
supported by UBS. Children and adolescents between
the ages of 7 and 15 will all compete in the same three events:
60m sprint, long jump and ball throw. We recommend organising the UBS Athletics Kids Cup as your athletics sports day, as there are only three requirements to meet and you can benefit in many ways.
Requirements for a UBS Athletics Kids Cup
It’s as simple as that. You can now express your interest in becoming part of the UBS Athletics Kids Cup movement by registering your school.
Advantages of organising a UBS Athletics Kids Cup
We support you in organising an UBS Athletics Kids Cup. Each school receives a ready-to-use toolkit to orgainse its own competition. The toolkit includes various equipments such as measuring tape, stopwatch, start flap, balls, plug-nails, whistle, etc. which are useful for successfully organising at the school level.
Regional Finals
Numerous UBS Athletics Kids Cup competitions will be held throughout Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad from April – September 2025.The best athletes will be invited to one of the 14 regional finals in November and December 2026.
Grand City Final
The UBS Athletics Kids Cup Grand City Finals will take place in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai in January 2027.In which the best girls and boys in each age category can participate.

The UBS Athletics Kids Cup season 3 has
started. All competitions held up to end
of October 2026 are part of the
qualification period for the Regional
Finals. Your school is free to organise an UBS Athletics Kids Cup after October. Of
course, you will still receive our full
support.
Point system
For the evaluation of the individual
performances, a predefined points table
is used. The points for the three individual
disciplines are added to the triathlon
result. Only the total of all three
disciplines counts towards the ranking.
Disciplines
The UBS Athletics Kids Cup is a triathlon consisting of the following disciplines:
Sprint 60 m – 1 attempt
Long jump with zone jump – 3 Attempts
Ball throw 200 g – 3 attempts
